Provision:
An Officer is guilty of an Offence if they:
- Operate a police vehicle in such a manner or location that it becomes immobilised in water, sand, mud, or snow.
Aggravating Circumstances:
- The vehicle is not equipped with four-wheel drive and is driven onto a beach;
- Assistance is required from a member of the public;
- The Officer has previously committed this Offence;
- The incident is recorded and publicly posted online;
- The Officer has recently completed 4WD training.
