Vehicle Bogged

Provision:
An Officer is guilty of an Offence if they:

  • Operate a police vehicle in such a manner or location that it becomes immobilised in water, sand, mud, or snow.

Aggravating Circumstances:

  • The vehicle is not equipped with four-wheel drive and is driven onto a beach;
  • Assistance is required from a member of the public;
  • The Officer has previously committed this Offence;
  • The incident is recorded and publicly posted online;
  • The Officer has recently completed 4WD training.
