Out of Office Error

Provision:
An Officer is guilty of an Offence if they:

  1. Fail to activate an automatic Out of Office message prior to commencing leave;
  2. Set an Out of Office message on a station mailbox (SMAIL);
  3. Fail to deactivate the Out of Office message upon return.

Aggravating Circumstances:

  • The leave period exceeds four weeks;
  • The Officer has committed this Offence previously.
