Provision:
An Officer is deemed to have committed an Offence if they:
- Fail to report for duty at the designated commencement time of any shift.
Aggravating Circumstances:
- The shift is a designated night shift.
- It is the Officer’s first shift following a period of leave.
- It is the Officer’s initial shift at a new station.
- The Officer attempts to enter covertly to conceal their lateness.
- The Officer is late on three or more occasions within any rolling three-month period.
- The Officer is discovered asleep when contact is attempted via telephone.
